In the middle of a SLAM and can finally start to see bottom. Been through 2 "Big Box" store cleaners(useless). Need something to get me through the SLAM. What is best now a days? Mainly mud and DE cleanup.

I had this one and it worked great. I specifically liked the bristles doing double duty. I almost never needed to brush.

Now, that said, there are 3 styles and they don't all work for all pools. We moved and the triangle head no longer worked well with a smaller above ground pool pump and they left me the cheap-o rectangle one with wheels that worked great.

I ordered one just like that. Haven't received it yet. I have plaster and these style are not supposed to work well on plaster but just had no luck with the rectangle ones.
See ??? And I have a few friends with plaster that swear by the rectangles. I think it's a pump/hose/# of skimmers combo and less of a pool type, but no 3 pools seem to like the same vac head.
