Best cheapest chlorine for vinyl inground

It depends upon the concentration- is it 6%? 10%?
PoolMath can help u calculate how much you would use. Most residential pools use 2-4 ppm of fc/day.
Keep in mind that bleach degrades over time & eventually becomes just salt water, this happens faster if it is not stored in a cool dark environment.
So your 10-11% bleach may be 5-6% by the end of the season if you buy it now.

If the barrel is 10% chlorine then the 55 gallons will give you 275 ppm of FC.

Depending on your FC consumption of your pool that can last 68 to 137 days.

You can't leave 55 gallons of chlorine outside, not even in a shed. It's going to be in your garage, and if it's like my garage, it's not much cooler than outside.

A saltwater chlorine generator (SWCG, or just SWG) makes your chlorine fresh every day! No lugging, no storing, no degrading.
