Best bang for the buck 2 speed pump

Any suggestions? My 1 speed motor just failed.

What would the 2 speed timer do?
I currently have a mechanical timer near my fuse box. (The standard one you see usually)

The two speed timer can switch the pool to low and high speed. In case you need high speed for a suction cleaner, or some other reason.

Some pumps struggle to prime on low speed, and thus it may need to start on high speed and then switch to low speed.

Ohhh. I would need it to start on low but only manual switch to high when needed.
