We have a Badu Stream ii with 3 jets and 2 pumps. We live in Jacksonville and is is going to go below freezing next week for a few days. I don’t think it is necessary to run those pumps constantly, but I was thinking 10 minutes every hour. Does this make sense?

I’d doubt you need to do anything. Is it really forecast to get below freezing down there?

Saw your post and did a quick search..

Yes, freeze protection is available with a Pentair Intellicenter I5 control system; you can access and configure freeze protection settings within the control panel's menu options, allowing you to set parameters for your pool equipment to activate when temperatures drop to potentially freezing levels.

I'm seeing lows of 30 and 31 in your forecast. A few hours around freezing is very unlikely to cause any problem. For PVC it generally takes several hours in the low 20's. But 10 minutes per hour or two through the cold part of the night is fine if it means you'll sleep better.
