Anyone know of such a beast? I'd like to use it with my pool cover pump; it would be a lot easier than dragging a stiff, frozen garden hose out each time. Plan B would be to cut the female end off an old garden hose and use a hose clamp to secure a 1 1/2" backwash hose to it, but it would be a lot neater and easier if I could find one pre-made. Searching the web hasn't turned up anything.

Thanks!

One idea is to find PVC fitting to fit inside the backwash hose. Not sure if it is 1.5 or 2 inch. Home Depot has those fittings with threads on one end or you may be able to use slip ends. Secure the backwash hose with a pipe band. Then adapt that down to size of a faucet fitting.

The links below are representative of the fittings but you will need to go piece it together to ensure you end up with the right size to attach the backwash hose and end up with ths spigot to attach a garden hose.

This is the adapter to use with 1-1/2" backwash hose. Use an adjustable clamp (pic below) to attach backwash hose. You will then have to track down other parts to reduce the 1-1/2" threaded male end down to your 3/4 hose size.

I got tired of dragging the hose out and was not able to hide well enough if left connected, so I just hard plumbed it.
