I use solar panels now with great success, but would like to extend my short pool season with a heat pump at the beginning and end of the season. Are there any 110v heaters out there for my 24ft aboveground pool? I would need a big electrical upgrade to do a 220v.

I've never seen a 110v heat pump. Not even a 240v 20a? My HP50HA Hayward heat pump is pretty good. Are you using a solar cover?
I've got a heat pump that is mobile that runs off a UK 240V plug socket so you can get them (think it's 13amp) - mine is a 9kw version which is the model that is recommended for a 24ft.

Is that the 9kw electric resistance intex heater? I don't think that is available in the US.
No it's a real heat pump so much cheaper to run though much more expensive to buy.
Search for Eco+ heat pump. I purchased it so I can put it away at the end of the season.
It is cheaper to buy a fixed heat pump though if you want to save some money.
Yes- I use a solar cover. And no, I only have 1 empty space in my breaker box. I have 2 heat pumps for the house and other stuff. I really don't want the added expense, but a couple weeks at each end of the season would be nice.
