Zodiac Jandy iQ20-A iAquaLink 2.0 Wireless Network Pool Control Interface System and Eero Mesh Wifi.
Spent several hours troubleshooting after upgrading my house Wifi to an Eero Pro 7 tri-band mesh Wi-Fi 7 router (3 pods)
Solution #1(1) Removed Aqualink 2.0 from online Aqualink account (via computer) and added the Aqualink 2.0 again with its serial number on account.
(2) Brought one Eero pod within 6 feet of Aqualink that was outside by the pool equipment.
(3) Turned on the GUEST NETWORK on my Eero and created a password WITHOUT special characters.
(4) Reset the Aqualink 2.0 (cleared cache) using the inside toggle switch 3 times back and forth slowly.
(5) Turned off/on power to whole Aqualink System system via breaker panel.
(6) Temporarily disabled 5G on Eero for 30 minutes using the Eero App
(7) Reset the Aqualink 2.0 again (cleared cache) using the inside toggle switch 3 times back and forth slowly. Switch is set to the right on Wifi.
(7) Using iPhone, Connected to the Aqulink 2.0 local Wifi in settings, Aqualink Network select page auto opened.
(8) Connected to my new GUEST NETWORK and no special character password. The page auto closed after about 20 seconds.
(9) Waited for about 5-10 minutes. Aqualink establish connection with Eero.
While pleased that I FINALLY established a connection that worked, it did not work consistently enough. I would often have to refresh the connection on the Aqualink app multiple times to find the system.
This is apparently due to the dual 2.4 and 5G networks as others have noted. Wanting a better solution...
Solution #2
(1) The Aqualink 2.0 works great when directly connected by ethernet CABLE to an Eero. Zero issues or latency.
(2) Not wanting to run a ethernet cable all the way to my closest Eero pod I decided to get a Wireless Ethernet Air Bridge.
(3) The transmitter is connected to the port of my closest Eero Pod and the Receiver is connected to the Aqualink 2.0.
(4) There is a little tab on the lower right (antenna side) of the 2.0 that you can remove with needle nose pliers to run the ethernet cable outside the housing.
(5) I just used some very short screws to mount the receiver on the 2.0 The Aqualink 2.0 antenna is now useless anyway. The Aqualink 2.0 inside toggle should be set too wired (the left side).
The system now works flawlessly and much faster than when using the Aqualink 2.0 internal wireless.
Hopefully this exterior rated Wireless Ethernet Air Bridge will hold up:
I hope this solution might help someone. My wife sure wonders why these things take so long. I do too!
