Greetings. In the middle of an overbudget kitchen renovation, our Gulfstream heater condensor decided to blow up... literally. Oil and freon everywhere. We have a 12,000 gallon pool and spill over spa and generally do not use the heater except on weekends with the spa most of the year and two months for the pool itself in the spring and fall. AquaCal has some new inverter style heaters which seem to be selling well in sw florida. We are looking at the T100 100k btu to replace the Gulfstream 115k btu. We put a Bosch inverter hvac on the house up north a few years back and it is awesome, very quiet, reliable so far and efficient.
Has anyone had any experiences with these AquaCal Inverter Heaters as a homeowner, installer or technician? To replace the Gulfstream with a like kind conventional unit is not in the budget at this point and I'd be sad without my hot spa on weekends. Thank you in advance for any feedback!
