Hi all, I have the pentair lights in pool and spa, they are on the same circuit. Is there any way I can get them to be different colors? If I hire a pool company to do it, can you advise on what I need to ask them to do? (add a circuit?)
Thanks!

How do you control the colors of the lights?

As you already figured out you need to move the spa light to a separate circuit and light control. Use an electrician not a pool company who will just sub it out to an electrician at a higher cost to you.

Perusing your media it looks like you have 120v lights (no transformer) an easytouch 4 or 8(confirm) and your light junction box is right at the pad below the easytouch with what looks like about 5 ft of liquid tite. It also looks like you are currently using 1 relay for the lights, 1 for the blower and 1 filter relay so you "should" have at least 1 spare
Doing what you are asking looks like it would be as easy as adding a single 12g thwn wire from the junction box to the easytouch, landing it on one of the spare aux relays and jumpering from the existing light relay line 1 to line 1 of the spare relay.

Wow, you're good, thank you! I have the easytouch, I"m not sure which one... No, there is no transformer - I have two lights in pool one in spa, but I'm not sure on the 120v. Correct on the one relay too

Are you comfortable pulling the high voltage cover on the pool panel and snapping an interior photo?
