Anyone have an Intex "Square" Pool (either 14x14 or 16x16)?

Hi all,

We are looking to put up our first pool this summer and are considering the above two pools/sizes. I have searched the internet high and low for reviews and/or videos on these specific pools and have found almost nothing.

If anyone has an Intex square metal frame pool (either the 14' x 14' x 42" or the 16' x 16' x 48"), I would love to hear any feedback you have.

I also have a specific question regarding whether the sides of these square pools "bow in" like the rectangular Intex pools while filling. We are curious about that because we are considering "underfilling" the 48" pool by a few inches.

Unless your lot needs a square, get a round pool

Omsh yes we got the 14x14 last year. Dont do it you cant find covers for them. And it came with the tiny little pump that does not work. The size is nice but because they are so new you can't find anything for them. And yes they look just like the rectangular

Yes we got the 14x14x48. The sides only bow in a little bit but straighten out long before the full mark.

Thanks supermom#4. I just saw your message. So I guess the square sizes don't come with a cover?

My understanding is that all the intex pools come with an underpowered pump, so that is an upgrade we are planning on.
