Anybody have experience with the Solaxx MET01A SafeDip Digital Test Meter ?

The good thing is that you can go to their website fill in the values and the website tells you what to do.
How exactly is that a good thing? That is the equivalent to going to a pool store and this site is FULL of threads about why that is a bad idea.
TFP is all about understanding what your pool needs and not what someone wants to sell you.

In general, we do not prefer digital testers as there is no way to know if they are properly calibrated or spitting out random numbers.
Stick to the Recommended Test Kits if you can.

Ok, i'm totally new at this so i need to learn a lot.
In my simple thinking I thought it was easy that you can put the data in the website and it calculates for you wich amount from wich chemical you need to add to get the pool perfect.
I did ordered a Taylor kit as I was adviced before but with googling i bumped into the meter and I thought that would make life easy.
Thanks for your reply

You can be a data point! Get one and use it along with your Taylor kit. Record the data and see if there are errors or trends over time.

Waste of Money is you ask me. It has to be constantly calibrated and the solution to calibrate is hard to find. I purchased one for a huge discount at the International Pool & Spa expo in New Orleans about 5 years back. I sold it on ebay for $20. My loss is your gain. Drop tests are easily replicated and very accurate.
