Please update the forum with your experience at 6 months, 12 months, and later intervals. With Wax Myrtle trees on two sides of our pool, I'm emptying the skimmer socks at least once a day and twice a day when the wind shifts (just got lucky when we were away for five days with low wind following a couple of stormy days that blew the heck out of those skinny-leaved trees.) I've been following solar skimmer stories for 3 or 4 years and have been generally discouraged. Even the people who seem happy have had experience that makes me think those products are all manufactured in repurposed Yugo car factories!
One thing I find a little scary. I cannot find an address or phone number for the company. Not even a clue where it is located.
