Aluminum & Metal Pool Furniture in the Water, Electrical Conductivity Hazard?

I have a tanning ledge in my new pool that has about 8" of water.

I constructed out of cinder blocks & PVC, umbrella stands for metal umbrellas. Theoretically, no part of the umbrella will be touching the water since I put rocks in the PVC to prevent corrosion on the metal from my salt water pool. It'll most likely periodically be in contact with the pool water.

I also have these low beach chairs made of aluminum.

Assuming proper bonding of the pool & pool deck, does this furniture pose an electrical hazard?

-----

If the pool becomes charged, it would seem the metal in the umbrella will be 0 charge resulting in traveling current through someone's body should they touch it.

For the aluminum chairs, I'm not entirely sure how it would work in comparison of the bottoms submerged in charged water, or sitting on the deck, with someone's feet in the water.

-----

I can't seem to find instances where there have been deaths or serious injury from metal pool furniture. It would seem that if it were a major risk, you'd see more news reports and lawsuits.

Jeff,

As long as the pool is properly bonded, than I can't see any issues...

Unless you do something stupid, like hang lights on the umbrellas powered by an old extension cord, there is just nothing to be worried about.

Thanks,

Jim R.
