Ahh-Some for a new inflatable hot tub

I am soon setting up a new inflatable hot tub (Intex Portable Bubble Massage Pure Spa for 4 people, 210 gallons). Had I not searched online about how to get started, I would never have thought that a new tub should be purged before using it. I ordered and received Ahh-some Water Clarifier and Bio-Cleaner. I see now that there are multiple Ahh-Some products. Is this the right one to use or do I need something else?

You did purchase the wrong item. However, the ingredients in our Pool Clarifier will help alleviate any build up your piping may have. You will have to use additional gel for it to be effective. Instead of 1.5 teaspoons use 2.5-3 level teaspoons to do the purge. You should aldo do it a second time as well. On the second purge use only 1.5 teaspoons of gel. Next time be sure to get the Hot Tub Plumbing & Jet Cleaner.

I don't know if I simply posted my last question or if I sent it directly to you, which was my intention. Anyway, I was asking whether to balance the hot tub chemistry, including shocking it, before adding the Ahh-some Clarifier, or afterward? Also, do I leave the clean, new filters inside the tub while using Ahh-some or take them out?

I am currently filling my new inflatable hot tub with water. Do I need to adjust the water chemistry, including shocking the water, before using the Ahhsome Pool Clarifier, or so I use the Ahhsome first?

Add ahhsome to the fill water. No balancing or other chemicals needed. You will be dumping that water out after the cleaning.
