Aggregate concrete pool deck Sealant advice

Hello,
I have 10 year old aggregate concrete deck around my pool and it's in good condition with no cracks or itching. I have patched a few small concrete areas that were chipped, but that is all. We just moved in to this house 2 years ago in Texas and I wanted to protect and seal this area with a water base penetrating sealer which does not alter the look or make it shiny. I've been considering the Eagle Natural Seal from Home Depot and been reading other reviews.

The problem is once these sealers are applied and they seal the concrete, then if you ever try to patch a broken piece or crack , then the new concrete patch will not bond or stick to the old concrete. Am I right?

Has anyone ever patched/repaired a Sealed concrete , can you please provide any suggections or expereince you may have or am I just overthinking this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Mostly because of the UV from the Sun, concrete sealant is not very permanent. It ages rather quickly but usually holds it's appearance for a few years.

If it is acceptable now, I would probably leave it alone. I don't know of much differentcebetween brands

Thank you all for the respond....Yeah, I'm in Texas and we do get hard freeze once in a while but only for a couple of days! I don't mind Sealing the deck but I want to have the option to be able patch the concrete if chipped or broken and maybe to use a mild cleaner or mineral spirits to just clean the chipped/Broken area and patch and seal it again.

Most of these sealers require very Harsh chemicals and strippers to remove and once sealed and dry, you can't go over it again. I may just leave it alone and for now keep searching and maybe I'll find something that's more Eco friendly or milder.
Thanks again!
