I am sure this question has been asked before, but here goes. I had a Polaris 180 which I was pleased with and I replaced the booster pump about 3 years ago. But after 17 years I need to replace the cleaner. I realized that I would not need the booster pump with the Polaris 360 but I am very familiar with the 180 and therefore would be familiar with the 280. My question therefore is ..... based on the experiences of the people on this forum, which model do you think will provide me with the better outcome ..... the Polaris 280 or the Polaris 360?

I have been very pleased with my 280 which I have rebuilt a couple times with the kit on Amazon.
I think if you have a functioning booster pump and all the plumbing set up, then go with the 280.

If you don't want to have a booster pump then go with the 360 or even consider an electric robot.

Depending on how and when your pool was plumbed, you may not have the right size plumbing to handle a 360 in any case. If you were happy with the 180, you will be happier with the 280 as it has a larger throat to pick up larger debris.
