Advice on balancing water during termite tenting

We are getting our house tented for termites and our pool equipment sits right next to the house and I believe they plan on covering the equipment with the tent to have a good seal. Although the termite company didn't say the pool pumps needed to be turned off during tenting (I asked), the thought of having the pump air vent sucking in Vikane gas doesn't thrill me.

I was considering turning off the pool pumps during the tenting (which is 3 days) and using a chlorine tablet floater and/or add extra liquid chlorine into the pool. Our CYA is really high (about 110), which may help preserve the chlorine. What is the likelihood of coming back to a green pool after 3 days of not running the pump.

Does anyone have any advice or recommendations?

Buy a sump pump. Put it on the lower most step of the pool and run a discharge hose to the deep end. This will be your circulation to keep the water moving. Pour in liquid chlorine and you should be fine. You can also add a floater with pucks but really not needed. It only adds CYA which you have enough of. You can elect not to run your sump pump full time.
