Added Shock and Clarifier Same Time Oops Now What?

Hey all,

Okay I screwed it up right off the bat today. I did not add much at all just drizzled a little Clorox Pool Clarifier around the deep end of the pool after adding more Shock to keep my chlorine level up until I can see the botom of the pool. Shallow end I can a see a little but deep end still pretty greenish brown after opening. Does anyone know does the Polymer for the clarifier just get broken down rendering the clarifier useless and shock may still work killing the remaining algae or have I just rendered both useless and now just need to wait another day, backwash again and readd shock?

Chances are you have algae and will need to SLAM Process.

What is this "shock" you speak of? Is it liquid or powder?

We don't recommend the use of clarifier or any "Chlorox" branded products (except granular stabilizer].
