Above Ground Swimming Pool Plumbing

I would like to upgrade my AGP plumbing. Currently, we have removable 1.5'' hoses and fittings. I would like to add some check valves and additional plumbing for new equipment.

I just order CircuPool RJ-45 PLUS Salt Chlorine Generator and HAYWARD SP1091LX Above Ground Swimming Pool Dyna Skimmer & Return.
We have Hayward extreme pool filter and pump, and heater.

What is the best plumbing layout for this setup? Where should I order all the supplies or plumbing kit to ensure all the parts fit? Should I go with 1.5'' or 2'' plumbing?

Here is a picture of my above ground pool setup with 1.5" PVC. Notice I just installed the RJ-45+ when I took this picture. I am going to bury the cabling and neaten it up a bit.99366

Thanks! It looks great.

Where did you get the post from? It's very visually appealing and I would like to get something like that too so I can mount my RJ-45+. Just got the unit from Discount Salt Pool and I am very impressed with the value and customer service they offer so far.

Did you have to order special connectors for the areas highlighted below?

The post is a faux cover for a 4x4 post that you typically use for mailbox posts. The areas you have circled are reducers to bring a 2" connector down to a 1.5". The ones you have circled on the flow meter and the RJ-45+ comes in the kit with it.

Got it, yes, I found 6 reducers in the box.

Where did you buy the rest of reducers? I just wonder if it is something that is readily available in big box hardware stores.

Most hardware stores should have these and big box ones definitely should.
Just thought I’d add my pics of a renovation of my plumbing system. No drips, less worry about a hose blowing off when Im not home.
