Looking for some help here. Just moved into a house that has a 15ft above ground pool. There was about a 2ft section where the liner is coming out of the track and I am having the hardest time getting it back in. I've watched a bunch of videos and have tried the boiling water trick to stretch it back into place but no luck. I even drained the water below the skimmer. I think I get it in, but then let go and it comes back out. I've since made it much worse the more I mess with it. I tried calling a bunch of pool companies but no one can seem to help me out.unnamed.jpg

Hi Jmoser201: I notice that a liner stabilizer seems to be missing where the liner should be pulled up and attached to the sidewall. It looks like your liner is an overlap type and not beaded. Is this correct? Never drain the pool and refill as the liner will probably shrink. This may be the issue with whatnyounare describing. Did you drain the pool down to like 6” or a foot of water after uncovering? If so, the liner can shrink. Never never drain a vinyl liner pool down too low, especially a liner that is over 5 years old or more. If your liner is an overlap type you will need a plastic coping and a metal stabilizer bar to go over that once the liner is in place. If the liner is beaded you need to insert the thick bead into the j bead channel so it can hang down vertically. Note: If the liner has shrunk yiu will need to replace It. Based on what limited images I see it seems like your pool has an attached fence and possibly a deck. If so, you will want to replace with a beaded liner and just purchase the bead receiver
separately. This way you won’t have to remove the fencing. I would really need additional images in order to help you further.
