Above Ground Liner Replacement

I have a 15 x 30 above ground that the liner is totally destroyed on. I am considering doing the replacement myself to save money. I have never done one of these and don't know if my decades of experience as a handyman with many skills is enough to make this doable. How many people might this require and what unexpected issues might I run into? I have been in touch with a contractor that does these and says it's $800 for the install - is that reasonable? I'm just trying to figure out what I should do.
Thanks for any advice.

I'd say you can tackle it yourself with your years of all around experience. Delve into a few youtubes so you learn some of the do's and don'ts and at what point to cut in the returns and skimmer. Have a useful helper at your side and you should be golden. It's not rocket science but you need a methodical brain.

I'll add that many hands are helpful. Alot of it is easy, like needing to hold the liner in many places while you center it. Without the help, you and your 1 helper tug on one side and the liner pops out in 4 spots on the other side.
