We have a 33 foot above ground pool and are in desperate need of ideas on how to manage the solar cover. We would love a reel but they don't sell them that large. Any ideas and pictures would be most appreciated.

A bit more of a hassle but could you fold it in half prior to reeling it up? Attach a rope to one side so you can pull it across.
Consider cutting the cover into halfs, thirds or quarters and using a solar roller to easily get it on and off. You might need two, not sure.

Not sure if this will help but it is what I did.
24 ft pool I had some 4" white light wall PVC pipe around, roughly 3 lengths which is about 30 ft. I glued those together with couplings and pvc cement. The "reel" sticks over the edge of the pool by about 2.5 ft on both ends. I found some white duct tape and applied it to the top of the liner to prevent the roller from damaging it. Last year I would just lay it on the ground, this spring I made up 3 small supports so it sits off the pool and against the fence out of the way.
To unroll simply grab an end and start turning, it is not too hard my wife can do it by herself. To roll off the cover I do not use anything to fasten it to the pipe, other then wetting the top of the cover and the pipe with pool water. After you get a turn and a half or so on it from the middle you can move to the ends and roll it off and store it. If you don't get it wet enough the cover will just spin on the pipe, plastic on plastic dry is pretty slippery.

I also marked center on the pool and the roller and line those up at the start.

We have it on a solar roller in quarters. Had to buy two kits to get enough pieces. It is ok, as long as the wind doesn't blow it all apart.
I would love to have a reel as well. Doheney's has a reel kit listed for the first time in 32 feet and the notation says goes up to 34'. I am going to call them tomorrow.
