2010 Pentair Easytouch 8 - Upgrade vs Replace in 2024?

I’ve read a lot of posts on similar topics, but most are prior to discontinuation of Easytouch. Those familiar with Pentair systems would you mind sharing your opinion if you were choosing what to do here?

Apologies if I'm mixing up terminology - I'll include a picture of the Pentair panel with cover off.
I have a Pentair Easytouch 8 Pool/Spa load center/panel from 2010, and I am looking to add 2 things to the system overall:
-SWCG
-any other external control, such as Screenlogic (currently there is only an old 8 button remote)

The load center was installed in 2010, I believe no components included for SWCG. The current control board is dated 2012. For upgrading vs replacing what I have now, I am getting mixed up with possible options. From what I've read, if it were 5 years ago I think I’d keep the current system the same, and add the power center to do a IC-60 SWCG, and the kit for Screenlogic. If I understand correctly, today's rough cost for load center-related items would be:
External power center for SWCG $709
522104 for Screenlogic $739
=$1500 and the rest of the panel is still 14 years old (I’m not sure if my pre-2012 panel layout matters… or if the board is the only real consideration there?)

So I could do the above upgrades, or given this board is 12 years old and Pentair appears to have discontinued Easytouch - would it make sense cost wise to consider going about this another way? Such as keep this panel but move to Intellicenter? I’m not clear if the upgrades to Easytouch are compatible with Intellicenter…. Or for example, should I consider replacing this 2010 panel entirely, and do an Intellicenter panel that includes the SWCG-related components/transformer? I haven’t found clear pricing listed online for the entire load center with SWCG transformer etc yet, seems like they may be significantly more expensive than swapping components, but again I'm not familiar and am at the point where I figure I will ask for more knowledgeable input...

In other words it seems there are different ways to go about this and I'm unclear on pros/cons of the current options. I would be doing any changeout myself - I’m fine with keeping this 2010 panel and doing Easytouch upgrades, or in theory I could get an entire new load center that includes the SWCG transformer and so on, though I'm unclear on the pricing and if that is even something that makes sense to bother with.

My main concern is spending $$ upgrading Easytouch, and then maybe having to switch to Intellicenter anyway say if this board goes out. Thanks

Pentair's upgrade is the Intellicenter. Right now there is a $500.00 rebate available from Pentair.

Thanks for the replies - that make sense, and I wasn’t aware of the $500 rebate for the upgrade kits. I’m waiting on confirmation of what the full system bundle including IC60 would cost but I believe it may be around $3800.

Option 1 - $3800 it may cost to replace my entire panel with Intellicenter panel that includes SCG transformer and IC60
Option 2 - $3668 before the rebate it may cost if I were to upgrade my Easytouch system to intellicenter, and then add Power Center and IC60: $1719 for IC60, $700 power center, $1240 for Intellicenter upgrade before rebate

I'll confirm these and update for others who may be interested later, need to double check specifics and look if it's a different Power Center compatible with Intellicenter, that what I had pulled up before to use with EasyTouch - I think it may be

Anyway for now, if i were to go route #2 it seems it may be about the same price then - route #1 bundle comes with all new everything, plus other things like 2 of the new actuators - so wouldn't that generally make more sense? Anything I am missing here? Thank you

Option 2 only makes sense if all you wanted was to upgrade to the IntelliCenter.. If adding the SWCG + power center, I'd buy it all new in one package for a couple of bucks more..

Thanks,

Jim R.
