2 Gang Extra Deep In Use Outlet Cover for Pump

I have a 2 gang electrical box with 2 GFCI oulets near my pool pump. As you can see, whoever installed it didn't use an "in-use" weatherproof outlet cover. I'm wanting to replace it with an in-use cover, but my pump plug is larger than normal. I need about 3.5" of space for the cover to close. The best 2 gang box I've found on Amazon said it is 3.25" deep. I did find a 1 gang "extra deep" box that is 5.25" deep, but I can't find the 2 gang version.

Does anyone know of a 2 gang extra deep in use weatherproof outlet cover?

All that being said, it looks like my pool pump plug isn't "normal." When I looked at replacement Waterway pump power cords, they all show having a regular extension cord type plug that would easily fit in a 3.25" deep cover.

I'd prefer to find an extra deep cover instead of changing out the power cord, but I guess that is an option.

I would change the plug end before I went thru the trouble of changing the 2gang box. When wire is present in the conduit you have to be very careful when cutting box off and especially when gluing. If you drop any glue on wire it will eat the jacket off and you will have bare wire exposed.

My local Home Depot and Lowes does not carry the "jumbo" boxes in the 2 gang version. I did find a version that would probably work on Amazon.

I didn't even think about changing the plug. Changing the plug and getting a regular sized in use cover is probably the most cost effective solution.

Thanks for the help.

The one I posted is $26 on Amazon, so $26 and two minutes with a screwdriver will solve the problem. That sounds pretty cost effective to me.
