Hello glad I found this forum I am planning a inground pool and I am going to build it myself, need help on find resources and sizing etc.
Thinking of a rectangle 30'x16'x4.5' is there a place that can take that info and give sizing for pump, filter plumbing ect all in a package?

Seems like folks in Utah like to DIY concrete block pools.

Use the search bar and you will find a few threads on “concrete block” or “Utah concrete block”

I built a cinder block liner pool 6 years ago, it went well. I bought plans from Stewart at Homebuiltpools.com it had some good plans and ideas. The plans helped me get my building permit which helped. This forum also helped alot. Our pool is 18x36 with a sun shelf steps and seats made from concrete. You hole will be larger than the pool size for your footings and plumbing which you will need a plan for the dirt that is going to come out of the hole, that was my biggest surprise having never dug a pool before. It’s a lot of work I used up a lot of friend favors but in the end it was well worth it. Good Luck
