And a close up of the coping

I see someone is eyeing it up to see when they can get in!!

Now, now, now.....................lets say IF instead of WHEN........we can hope right?????? What I am hoping is since you have a plan you will not need it! At least that is how it works here!

So do they make the decking flow into the coping? Or are you using pavers and they will be fit into the coping?

My decking is good ole brushed concrete. That is what I have always had and like it. The concrete will go right into the coping. There was definitely a lot of progress!

Hazel will try to go in. I’m not sure we are going to let them. We have a big 2 acre plus pond they go in every day!

Brushed is what we are getting as well. I feel it’s safer around a pool area, grandkids are less likely to slip and fall on a rough surface..and I have 12.."think I may need a bigger pool’"

12!! What a lucky guy you are! I have one child. I told her the grand kids she has given me is why I let her live through her teenage years! She has 4 and wants 5 or 6. So for me that’s the greatest!!

Yes, I have 5 kids and have given me 12 grandkids so far, 1 of my Daughters will be induced on Monday with lucky #13 coming into this world and be able to swim in Pop’s pool

Son in law sent me a pic! I’m stuck at work and will be later getting home to see for myself. I must say this is pretty exciting. The grand kids though it had a TON of water in and daughter said there’s 8 inches. Lol.

I love it!! I love how deep it is, how blue it is, how new it is!!

I hope your weather is better than what we're getting in Georgia.....daily rain, cloudy all day... for weeks it seems. You'll be in your pool in no time!

Plumbing

And I’m so pleased with my electrician. I have a spot light and an extra electric outlet for whatever may come up. So nice and neat. Thanks to suggestions found on this forum I think I’ve got everything!

Get your self a sharpie marker and find out where each of those pipes/valves go or does, and as a newbie I found it helpful to put an arrow on the direction of the water too.

---> to stair return

<---from skimmer

and so on...

I’ve done one better. I got a label maker and weather proof labels. I’m going to ask the PB guys what they all are and label them all. I think the PB uses a sharpie but in the past it has faded away and I’d forget what was what.

That is one clean plumbing job! Look at all of those unions! There is my light!!

There will be so many times you will use something like the light or open a union and think of me!!! I am so glad you found us so far in front so we could suggest all of the extra goodies!

After you mark them, take a pic of the entire set up with your phone so you'll remember in case a label falls off.
