I have a Hayward light controller, with an Intermatic PX100 transformer. One of the three LED lights continuously blink different colors while the other two work properly. Pictures of light controller and transformer for reference. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

How old are you lights? Are they still under warranty?

Check the wire connections at the light junction box or wherever the pool light wire is run to.

tspo,

The life span of Color changing LED pool lights is about 15 nanoseconds...

I suspect the flashing light is bad but ensuring all the junction points after the transformer are solid, makes sense.

My guess is 95% possibility that the LED is bad, and 5% possibility that it is something else.

But.. Whatever is bad, has to be after the low voltage transformer.

Thanks,

tspo,
Are they the Hayward Colorlogic lights? If so, we were told when it starts flashing then it needs to be replaced. I'm definitely not saying that's what the problem is here. I'm just going by my personal experience.
Yes, they are color logic. The light itself is what I suspected as well. They aren't under warranty any longer and the company that installed them, I will never do business with again! I will have to drain the pool a bit more in the spring so it can be removed/replaced. Thank you everyone for your help.

Very good to know. Thank you!. I need to figure out what I actually have. The pool company didn't give me much info. Thank you!

Thank you! Just need to find what specific led bulb I need. Thanks again
The entire light may need to be replaced. Or what is called the light board. LED lights do not use bulbs. You need to pull the light out, determine the model, and see if it has repairable parts. Some don’t.

Ok, thanks. But I should be able to remove it with it still being in some water, which will save me time when I open it in the spring.

Yes, assuming the builder installed the light properly leaving enough wire coiled behind it to pull the light up to the deck.
