lights and transformer

Just curious if anyone here has wired a plug to your Intermatic PX300 transformer and plugged that into a GFCI outlet (rather than direct wiring). Any issue with doing this?

Can any of you identify this light housing? I need to replace the bulb and gasket. The bulb is a 12V. The only number I could find on the housing is 15916. Google did not show anything for this number. All the other stickers have faded.

My lights are all bad, two pool and one spa. I am planning on getting the Pool Tone lights from Florida Sunseeker and the 300 watt transformer. Does anyone have a wiring diagram to install this? As I understand, you have to have the GFCI connected but doesnt the transformer interfere? Since I...
