I believe this is the relay he was talking about that goes bad on prologic and went bad last x but from my recollection it was the k2 that burnt. he believes the relay went bad this x. no fuse was blown.

From what I remember, he said that the relay was a little loose feeling but it doesn't feel loose to me compared to anything else on the board. I had a prologic SWG since I've had my pool. we've had so many problems with salt cells and then the motherboard in my prologic. Hayward warrantied the motherboard last year cuz the relay (if I'm remembering what the black box on the board is called correctly) went bad. That board didn't last...

Hi. Does it seem possible to lose 45 CYA in a year? I only recorded backwashing my pool twice in a year, so that was likely (and hopefully) wrong. Let's say I backwashed 5 times, though. I still wouldn't loose more than half of the CYA if I'm just emptying an inch or 2 of h20 out of the pool...
