    Unsure about my salt testing

yeah, once I get my CYA level proper, I'm off to doing that. But since I always have lot's of tree stuff in my pool, it will never be that stable. I got a lots of big trees and cedar hedge. Everyday is a full pool cleanup because of that. I can't wait to have my robot. As for my vial, I flush...

So I unscrewed the adapter, removed all of the teflon tape and the little silicon they put. I've put new silicon tape, screwed it so about 3 turn of thread show, still leak. I screwed it more, still leak.... I'm starting to think they knew about this and the original stuff was maybe glue. It's...

    Unsure about my salt testing

Normally, it's at 30% or below. The pool normally doesn't run 24/7 except at opening season. Once it's stabilise, I run it during the day from 9am to 9pm. It's also open from april to october (at best). Right now, the water is at 59F. I remember having someone told me under 60-70F, it's not...

    Unsure about my salt testing

It now says it's 2600 which is below it'S 2700 threshold. I'll add some salt after the repair to see if it get...

    Unsure about my salt testing

a good 4 hours :( Ok, so since cell says 2700 and store meters 3200, should be ok. Pool maker says to only check the aquarite reader (well, maybe they want to sell new cells faster). I never cleaned the cells, wonder if that's require? I did flush it with fresh water at the beginning of the...

    Water leak at pump

Hello everyone, I found out I have a small leak on the tube going upward from my pomp to my filter. I try putting it tighter but it didn't help. Looking at the installation, it seems there's some kind of silicone that was applied at the installation. How do I fix this? Thank you!

Hello everyone, I have 3 different reading of my salt in my pool and I'm unsure which I should trust. My taylor kit didn't came with the salt reading unfortunatly. The first method is the worst, a salt testing strip (that is expired to add to the false reading). This one give me 2450ppm. My...

TFPC Recommended level vs manufacturer level

Oh I'm not arguing, I'm trying to understand. I just read the pool school, ABC Chemistry and everything since we get pointed to read that. So I'm trying to understand, if there's something wrong in the ABC or the app, maybe it should be fixed?

TFPC Recommended level vs manufacturer level

Ok because the abc chemistry on this website says this Over time, water with low calcium levels will tend to dissolve calcium out of plaster, pebble, tile, stone, concrete, and to some extent fiberglass surfaces (...) A plaster pool or fiberglass pool should attempt to keep their CH between...

Ok. It doesn't change the water sensation? Unsure how to say that but softness or make it more comfortable for the people in the pool? I know out of balance ph and CL will cause discomfort and itchiness.

I have a heat pump. I have paver stone on top of the pool(it's fiberglass). On my pool aquarite, I have a sticker with all the levels on it I should aim (even cya) and it says 125 to 250. At the same time, it says to keep cya from 20-30

Ok, I just came back from the pool store (waiting on my Taylor kit to arrived). I confirmed they have the Taylor kit that I bought, saw the box and the reagents. Now, I followed what the app told me last time but for 30 000 liters not 20 000liters which screwed a bit. Good thing I haven't put...
