Thank you! Because I recorded TA at 125 I believe I threw off the other numbers.

I tested Monday and correct results were 50 TA, added a little water yesterday along with MA and chlorine. Today I tested at 30. Monday was 5 drops before the sample turned from green to red. Today it took 3 drops.

I added MA yesterday. I went back and checked my handwritten notes and I miscalculated heavily by multiplying by the 25. Learning curve issue. I was at 50.

Thanks for the heads up! It’s a rainy day today (not sure if that matters) and I filled a bit yesterday. Pool is at 30 now with target set at 70. The app says to add 6lbs. Do you suggest less for now?

I added all but the stabalizer yesterday. Turns out I actually had 0 so I’m trying to get to 30 now. I added liquid just now and brushed away and have the granual on hand as well to make it easier next time. It was a long stressful day of running out to grab supplies, testing, and adding chems...

I’ll keep an eye out for a higher percentage when I head out for the other items. I was so excited to see some pink show for the FC test after I put it in. I just added additional based on the app and waiting for CC to show up.

Whew! It is Pool Essentials from Walmart and was about $1 less than regular chlorine which had fewer ounces. That was a surprise to me.

I read your post too late and had already grabbed the chlorine. I initially had regular bleach then saw this which is 10% sodium hypo. Should the other ingredients be a concern? I have to go out and get the rest of the items later so I can return easily. I’ll make sure not to get duped.
