    So am I heading the right way, or is there something else I should be doing? After testing I think it is a good thing I started testing before I got algae. I guess just keep daily testing and pouring in liquid until I get the FC up?

    Yeah my wife and I both looked at the tube. I thought maybe 40 but we both settled on 30. I dont think they had been over chlorinating because it never seemed real strong odor or burned your eyes. Everyone that we have invited over have commented that they thought the chlorine would be stronger?

    Installed a 20x40 vinyl lined in ground pool this spring. Pool company has been doing chemicals until now and have been using dichlor. I started taking it over and have been using 10% liquid chlorine. There is a chloranator installed with dichlor pucks inside. I shut it off. My taylor test kit...

    New pool owner in Kansas

    Just learned of this site recently. We installed a 20x40 vinyl lined inground pool this spring. Really have enjoyed it so far. The pool installer has been checking the chemicals weekly and I am now going to start doing it myself. I have been reading here and am sure will have plenty of questions
