Thanks! I’ll put a little more mmph into it. Do I need to take off what looks like a PVC coupling only or the smaller PVC piece as well? Curious because the whole thing is somewhat loose but I was told to remove the ‘cap’.

Hello, new’ish here and first time trying to vacuum the pool. I’m trying to attach the vacuum hose into the skimmer. Cody Pools says to remove this cap inside the skimmer and then connect the hose. Does this look & sound right? For the life of me I can’t get this cap off.
