    Pentair Globright issues

    I spoke to Pentair in January to request my 3rd globright replacement. The customer service employee informed me that Pentair completely changed how globrights are manufactured and as of January 2024, new globrights should be much better. I just got my new light. Time will tell :)

    New build need equipment help

    My opinion is you need only one 3hp pump. Inteliflo is adjustable to your needs. On one pump i run a side, 2 24inch sheer desents and 3 bubblers. You just won’t be able to run main returns at the same time which is fine. Your pool plumber should be able to help you purchase your pumps heater etc...

    Another dead Intellivalve

    I’ve had two fail in a year. Next fail I will replace with Jandy even if they are under warranty. Cheaper than burning out my pump.

    Got the same old actuator you had. They were/are horrible. 2 broke to date. both recently installed. Glad they were discontinued

    How does the sigma now perform with the third brush. Any issues climbing the walls or working around stairs? Does it clean better? I’m also considering sending mine in for a third brush.

    Here’s another pic. It’s 40…honestly I don’t Think my plumber would cheap out on not using 40 well known trusted plumber. The elbows I can’t tell.

    My plumber said he’d only use sched 40. At this point it’s under concrete. I checked some not all. The stuff I checked said schedule 40. Finger’s crossed at this point. I think I can see a 40 on one of the elbows in the pic.

    This is on the TFP startup guide: The heater should not be operated for about 2 weeks after filling. If practical, bypass the heater during this period. Newly plastered pools will create a lot of plaster dust and this dust can find it’s way into the smaller tubes of your heater clogging it up...

    I read a post on here that said to run the pump during start up and to bipass heater because the pebble has lots of dust
