    Floor return unscrewing itself

So I'm guessing I accidently vacuumed up the screw holding it on, or they didn't install it properly. Thank you!

    Floor return unscrewing itself

This is my first season using the floor return. Last season my pool was built and builder said don't turn on while plaster is curing. I noticed it fell off a couple days after they opened the pool. I went in and screwed it back in and noticed with water going through it was slowly unscrewing...

    Low calcium, CSI ok

I added CH because it had been at 170 for weeks and was worried about it being so low. I'm not planning on adding anymore. My pH test tops out at 8 so I was worried about it going above 8 without me being able to tell.

    Low calcium, CSI ok

I have another CSI question. All of my numbers are within the recommended ranges (minus salt) but my CSI is still a bit low. I'm probably overthinking this but I'm new to maintaining my new pool and want it to stay nice (and I like numbers). It was filled on Aug 1 so plaster is still curing. My...

    Low calcium, CSI ok

Thank you both for the advice. I'll continue to monitor the CSI and CH as I get closer to pool closing time. I'm still getting used to all this with being a new pool owner.

    New pool owner chemical questions

Thank you Jim. I'll get myself a salt test. I'm glad I found TFP it's been giving me so much information.

    New pool owner chemical questions

We are currently running the pump 12 hours a day. It's a Hayward TurboCell T-Cell-15 SWG. My pool is about 20K. Does it make a difference that salt is at 3600ppm? At least that's what the display says. I don't have a salt test. Thanks

    New pool owner chemical questions

New plaster pool with salt water generator, and water added on August 1. Current levels FC 8.5 pH 8 TA 100 CH 160 but pool builders say close to 250 (I'm using Taylor kit they're using sticks) CYA 50 I've been using Pool Math app to keep track of levels. I'm about to add muratic acid according...
