The robot seems to need a 1 and 3/4 connector. But the vacuum port won’t fit a 1 and 3/4. I measured 1 1/2 across the port. Does a hose like that exist with each side being a different size. For some reason I can’t seem to find this online. Is it really that uncommon?

I just realized I’ve been adding sulphuric acid to my pool for the past few weeks. Maybe 1-2 gallons in total. Is this going to Hurt the operation of the saltwater generator? One place I read said I have s to drain the pool!? Other people seem to say you can use either acid. So confused.
