Dead and flickering light- what are my first troubleshooting steps?

Thanks! Wiring was... simpler than I was expecting. Standalone 120VAC-14VAC transformer to a set of junction boxes sending out 14VAC. PB warranty on bulbs is 1 year but I'll ask anyway, and then start searching TFP to see who's replaced them and where the best place to buy will be. Connectors...

Dead and flickering light- what are my first troubleshooting steps?

All- Merry Christmas Eve! Noticed the other day that, of my 3 lights, one is completely dead, and the other randomly alternates between being off and flickering lightning-quick through some/all of it's color combos. Aqualink PDA P8, and BlueSquare Spectrum 360. Pool is ~2 years from being brand...

    YAA (Yet Another Aerator)

Title says it all! Plastered and filled 3 months ago or so and alkalinity keeps climbing and the sheers aren't doing enough to let me keep up with dumping in all the acid I need to dump in. Have it on the booster cleaner port (unused since I've got a robot) which is still plumbed in.. PB...

Robots- any alternatives to dragging the cord across decking?

So it took forever for my M600 to show up, and then had to wait a bit to get the coping cut. Here it is! I wasn't there to supervise so the channel is a drop narrower than I had hoped for (was planning on filling in the sides and top with silicone) so now it just "fits" without any...

Just some Memorial Day messing around- RPM vs. GPM vs wattage

Thank goodness :) And I must have done a reasonable installation of the flowmeter, that might be the larger validation!

Just some Memorial Day messing around- RPM vs. GPM vs wattage

Here's v2, with some additional lower-end data points: So the curve really ends up "curving". This was with my sheer descents on; at 2400rpm, I had 2 solid sheers, and the far one was getting "bumpy". At 1750rpm, all 3 were bumpy, and at 1200rpm, all 3 were dribbling down the wall. After...

Just some Memorial Day messing around- RPM vs. GPM vs wattage

SoDel- I installed this: F-300 - Blue-White Industries. Specifically, on a run of pipe after the filter that all the water goes thru. If installed correctly, should be fairly accurate (and, even if it's off, the relationships between rpm/flow/power will still be there). And I've got not clue...

Just some Memorial Day messing around- RPM vs. GPM vs wattage

Et voila, here's my system curve (well, set of points). Was expecting more of a curve vs. a straight line, but maybe it gets that way at lower rpms:

Just some Memorial Day messing around- RPM vs. GPM vs wattage

All- Just enjoying our new pool, still trying to find that sweet spot of speed where the heater still has no issue and the sheer descents still look good. Slapped in a shiny new Blue White F300 in a very long straight pipe run after the filter, and took some initial measurements: RPM...

Price of chlorine (and Home Depot liquid)

So I was without a pool for 2 years and... oh my goodness. PB finished their new build 7-day maintenance; salt system doesn't turn on until 30 days after fill, and I had to make an emergency run to the corner pool store, and I laughed in their face when they rang me up. Then I realized they...

Aqualink PS6 installed instead of P8

That's interesting- so if I did get a P8, it doesn't automatically ship with enough relays to cover all 8 slots (if I'm reading you correctly)?

Aqualink PS6 installed instead of P8

Gotcha- yup, inside the control panel, looks like there's space for them (2 are for "P6/PS6 only" and the next two are for "P8/PS8 only", or something to that effect). Thanks!

Aqualink PS6 installed instead of P8

Probably- good call. And, if there's an option to buy and install 2 additional relays (not sure if the internals are the same and if that's even possible), maybe that's the price point I shoot for.

Aqualink PS6 installed instead of P8

Hello! Have a brand new build going; we just filled and PB came out to get pump circulating for startup. Tech realized we had a PS6 installed instead of the P8 we signed for. He went ahead and flashed it to the non-spa version because, well, we don't have a spa :) I'm not super concerned...

    New build- Dallas, TX

Thanks! Not quite yet. Don't think it's allowed for at least 2 weeks. And still need the PB's stone mason to route the channel across the decking I'm going to run the line over. I will definitely post when it happens :)
