When I start my pool, the pump has no prime. It pumps and pumps, and just as the basket fills... the water level collapses, and water stops coming in. When it resets, it starts pumping water in, the level rises... and the same thing happens. I see no obvious sign of a leak. All leaf baskets are empty. I turned off the aerator and vacuum. What else could be the cause?
