Featured IntelliCenter Upgrade EasyTouch 4 (2007) with IntelliChlor

... have the new SWG board in hand but I'm going to verify that it does need to be replaced first. If it does, it just requires drilling three new mounting holes and taping them with the correct drill bit/tap. ...
Thanks for your write ups. I went through the rest of the thread but did not see where you reported if the SWG actually had to be replaced or did you just move it to clear the new motherboard. It looks to me like I could just move the existing SWG board to the left about 3 inches and mount it there, unless the old SWG will not work with the new motherboard.

Thanks,
Travis

Correct. You use the same SWG surge board mounted in the back of the cabinet.

I very much appreciate the response! I got slapped on the wrist for my first post being to an "old" thread. I guess I should have PMed you .

I went ahead and ordered a new SWG surge board, but it was expensive. I am going to relocate the existing board (only replaced last year), and if there are no problems with it I am returning the new one. I have a new sweeper booster pump sitting here next to the Intellicenter upgrade kit! :D

Cheers, Travis
