I just need to know if this is a problem. My pump is controlled via aqua link. When the pump turns off the SWG takes about three minutes to display “no flow” and, I guess, go to sleep. It quickly resumes chlorinating when the pump is turned back on. I’m attaching pic of what the SWG cell looks like before it stops. Thanks!IMG_3730.pngIMG_3725.jpeg

It is dangerous for a SWG to run with the pump off. It could explode. Adjust your timer. I have my pump running 6am-2pm and SWG running 7am-1pm to avoid this issue.

The only timer I have is the aqua link for the pump. The SWG is not on a timer.

It does look like, based on the install instructions that I came find, that the SWG should turn off when the pump is off. Is that right?

The Jandy TruClear does not have a flow switch.

The Jandy TruClear uses a gas sensor to shutdown the cell when there is inadequate water flow instead of a flow switch. The gas sensor uses a conductivity sensor through the water that gas accumulation breaks.

Your manual is at https://cdn.fluidrausa.com/-/media/...3500.pdf?rev=43b499c64cc34871bc86e185d48f8e4d

Section 3.6 says:

the power pack must be interconnected with the pool pump motor power source to ensure that the chlorinator only operates when the pool pump is running. The Jandy TruClear chlorination system with Firmware Revision F or later, can monitorthe state of the Jandy Variable Speed Pump so that the TruClear does not operate if the Jandy Variable Speed Pump is not running.

The Truclear Power Pack should be wired to the LOAD side of the Aqualink filter pump relay.

Show us where the Power Pack is connected to.

It’s good you noticed this issue. Be sure to test it out to make sure it’s working as it should be working.
