I have been reading these forums for 7 years and just this week learned about CSI. I turned it on in Pool Math as I have a plaster pool with a SWG and waterline tile and my plaster isn't in the best shape. Pool School says pH is easiest to adjust and my pool really tends to like and stay around 7.5-7.8 and that gives me a better score, really only 7.8 gives me a in the range score. Is there anything else I should do? My numbers are off right now because I opened a few days ago, the heater isn't on and I'm in a SLAM. but a lot of these don't change. CYA will be around 80, water temp usually 82, salt usually 3600. those numbers give me an in range score ONLY with a 7.8 pH. That's a hard one to keep. is there anything else I can do?

Raise your CH to 350-400ppm. That is still in range and will increase CSI (make it less negative)

In Pool Math - Click on HOME. This is your latest test results and CSI. Now click on CSI - change the on TA, CH, TEMP, etc and the CSI will change so you can see the effect. Once you back out of it, the original data is automatically reinstated and saved

yes that is what I was doing to see that 7.8 is what I should keep pH at.
