Discount Salt Pool Sale Question

I’m planning to purchase the CircuPool Universal55 Saltwater Chlorinator System from DSP for my 23k pool.

They have a sale that ends tonight, it’s $10 more than the Universal 40. Is this the best price they offer, or is this a normal price for them? Seems like this upgrade sale has been going on for awhile.

I wasn’t planning on purchasing tonight, but could if this is the best deal of the spring.

Any insight would be appreciated.

It's a forever sale. Ahem. Excuse me. It expires and it's back tomorrow as a $1 upgrade for a limited time. Then $10, $1, $10....... it's a marketing scam where they overprice it and then upgrade for next to free.

It really irks me about them. They have an amazing product and don't need to play games with it. But it is what it is.

The last several years the prices jumped soon. For the south it was early spring, for us it was late winter.

The prices may stay where they are, but they certainly won't go down in a couple weeks when demand spikes. So if you're comfortable with the cost, a bird in the hand and whatnot.

The other thing is that when spring/summer demand hits they could be out of stock on the model you want. From my historical data that unit is usually around $1200 in the spring & $1400 in the summer for the past 3-4 years. But bleach keeps increasing in price!

It is a well known very serviceable design - I suspect you will be pleased to end your jug lugging days!
