Here's a fun new place to find algae

Or at least new to me. I don't know why I've never looked at the string to my pool thermometer before but I did today for some reason. Ewwww.
Just may be one more place to check if you can't find where the algae is hiding...

Sheesh. When I said the universe would toy with us in the donation campaign thread, I didn't expect an hour later.

My string thermometers did the same and we switched to the floatie ones. The dogs unfortunately feel the need to rescue them, and by rescue them I mean pluck them out and have lunch. We've been thermometer free since moving with no pool area fence.

We play 'guess the temperature' and everybody wins because nobody can claim they didn't.
