Haven came out today to install the solar reel. Very shoddy work.
They dug the hole for the treated 4x4 and threw the dirt and rocks into my sand. It took me about 20 minutes to clean up.
They got concrete dust all over my filter and pump. It took another 10 or 15 minutes to clean up.
They broke a concrete bag and then cleaned it up and dumped it all (including the paper bag) into my yard debris bin. They also spilled concrete in my lawn and did not clean it up. It took me at least 30 minutes to clean the concrete out of my yard debris bin.
The posts are not solid because they did not use enough concrete or dig a big enough hole.
They brought the wrong solar reel so they were unable to do the job. They had to unscrew everything they installed and take everything away.
I’m actually glad that they were unable to do the job because the cuts they made on the 4x4s were not level and the hardware on top of the posts was tilted.
They made multiple cuts in the treated lumber and did not re-treat the cut ends.
They are coming back at an unknown time to complete the job.
The employee promised me that he would bring me a bin of liquid Chlorine.
The person that did all the shoddy work was the owner.
I drained the pool for about an hour with the waste function on the sand filter.
Then I added another 3 inches or so of water to the pool. I’m trying to reduce the cyanuric acid somewhat.
I should’ve been more specific with the amount of time I drained the pool so I could be more specific with the number of gallons that I drained.
