The other day before I heard back from anyone , I added 2 cups of acid (what pool math said to add for the target ph I had of 7.2— when I was going to try the aerate method) and next day I checked pH and it had only gone down to 7.7 or 7.8. It just feels like I can never go away /out of town...

That’s the problem. Almost every other day I have to add acid to lower my pH. Loves to stay at 7.9-8.1. Pool is new so I know the first 6 to 12 months pH runs high due to new plaster. But is needing to add acid every other day normal? When can I expect this to level off?

My TA was 90 and pH 8.0/8.1, so I added muriatic acid per pool math to lower TA. How long do I aerate to bring up pH after lowering ? Thanks in advance for any tips.

I did it twice with a magnetic stirrer. The pump has been running for last 2.5 hours . But I took a test and got 14 drops (my first test of the two precious tests was 13 or 14 drops). Here is a video my test so you can see . Feedback ?

So I tested some of my levels since it has been 2 days since I added my additional salt (30 pounds) and the levels are exactly the same or almost. The first time I tested , I did 13 drops and it turned to the salmon color (so 2600 ppm). The second time I did it got only 12 drops (2400 ppm)...

Oh. I have the swg on this morning. Has been running the last 2 hours. Should I turn it off and just add Liq chlorine today then? I added a 30lb amount of the salt last night around 9pm

Well my CH still hasn’t gone up. Actually it went down by 25 and is 225. Still think it is going up on its own?or add some CH?

Previously I was told not to add anymore salt if my cell was making adequate chlorine. The Test from pro kit said 2400 for salt . salt cell Says 2900 and my pool is making a lot of chlorine. When I had it running for 4 hours at 30% my chlorine level went up too high. So I do want to add more...

Update: leak fixed and possibly auto-refill maybe fixed. For the paralevel, they added an extender to raise the float. We’ll see if it works .
