Thanks all! I’ve successfully passed the overnight test. Water is crystal clear. But CC is 1. It was .5 yesterday. Water has been clear for several days. I’ve vacuumed, brushed, and cleaned filters along the way. Any advice?

I raised the CYA to 30 and started SLAM yesterday. Got FC to 10.5 (target 10) and CC was 3. Tested two more times throughout the day yesterday and FC did not drop and CC did drop down slightly to 2.5 last night. This morning, FC was 7.5 and CC 3. I added chlorine to get to 10 again. It does hold for longer than 30min. Should I increase ph first before starting slam?

I should add, I’ve done nothing since yesterday where I overshot the muriatic acid and added chlorine to get to 11 (also overshot a little). Pool has been covered.
