    Brown Worms

Hello, I have been getting a lot of these worms around the pool. Any idea what is attracting them to the pool, and what I can do to try and keep them away? Thanks!

    Leak from drain plug

I was hoping it would be a simple remedy like that. I'll give it a shot. Thank you.

    Leak from drain plug

Hey guys, I did a complete repair on a Pentair Whisperflo pump (internal seals, new diffuser o-ring, and housing gasket). After getting everything hooked back up, I was getting a small drip from one of the drain plugs, so I decided to get a new plug which came with a new o-ring. As you can see...

    Plumbing Leak Question

Hey guys, I've got a leak where the flexible Polaris hose connects to the T fitting in the pics below. There is a crack in the female threading. I went to Home Depot to get what I think I need for the repair, but I always seem to get stumped on what fittings would work best for what I need to...

    Sand Filter Issues

Borjis, it looks like you have the top mounted version according to your signature. On the side mounted version, there is a pipe at the top where the water comes in, and the outlet pipe at the bottom that the laterals connect to. So my thinking is that maybe there is a crack somewhere in that...

    Sand Filter Issues

Ok guys, this post may be a little long, but I want to provide as much detail as I can to hopefully get this problem resolved. I have done a lot of searching and research already and have a few ideas, but I wanted to post here as to get more ideas. So a few months back I started helping a guy...

    PVC Coupler keeps splitting

Thanks guys. I replaced my own booster pump about 4 years ago and used the new Polaris flex hose and fittings and it has been perfect since, so this issue must be from overtightening.

    PVC Coupler keeps splitting

Hey guys, I am working with bknapp on this plumbing issue. Attached are some additional pics of the area in question. As you will see, this is on the pressure side of the booster pump, so this particular spot is always going to get a good amount of pressure. Would it make more sense to stick...

    PVC Plumbing Question

Couldn't I also replace the entire piece coming from the filter to a new 90, and then use a coupler for the top portion?

    PVC Plumbing Question

So you are saying cut where I have the red lines drawn? And I am not sure what you meant by removing the union and slide a new piece part? Thanks!

    PVC Plumbing Question

Hey guys, I am looking to repair a leak at the 90 degree elbow shown in the 2 pics. I have done similar types of repairs before, but in this case, I do not have a lot of pipe to work with. I am just looking to get ideas of the best way to go about making this repair. I have done a lot of reading...
