    Pentair CNC+520 questions

I'd call it snug enough. For my education, what would one see if it did happen to be off?

    Pentair CNC+520 questions

Thanks y'all. Yep that's it. The screen wasn't really all that secure. Given what it is, I don't guess that's problematic?

    Pentair CNC+520 questions

Opened and cleaned cartridges for the first time the other day. Noticed the following: One of the bands on one of the cartridges is broken. Its just a little over a year old. Should I be concerned? Seems unlikely that it is a warranty item but I guess is worth the question. It is back in...

    IntelliCenter Low Salt Notification

It looks like I have this notification configured to trigger. I have never seen it come across despite several low salt episodes. Anyone seen it work? I have seen other notifications work in the past. Todd

Bonding of aluminum sheet metal during retrofit

@ajw22, The 5' rule would also apply to buried gas lines from meter to pool heater? Or does bonding the heater cover that? I apologize in advance for the thread tangent....

When adding salt I typically use 40lb bags. I log the additions in PoolMath. Is there a way to query how many additions where logged at what quantity over a period of time? Thanks Todd

Help me help my brother in law please

In North Texas freeze and his pump pressure is way down. Reading 3 when it's normally 15. His push pull valve has a leak and is frozen. See pics. Pump appears to be running normally. He's wondering if he should shut it all down. Thoughts please?

    Freeze Protection

My system exhibits the exact same behavior. It only affects the pump for my sheers because my filter pump runs 24x7. Clearly Pentair has a problem with the algorithm. Nothing I have tried seems to resolve it. Sure would be nice if they produced a fix.

    IntelliCenter Spa Mode

Thanks a lot for that Allen. I guess my installer skipped that step. All I checked when he left, early last spring, is that the heater responded to the IC. And it did to a point I guess. So is the path to fix this as simple as power down at the pad disconnect the 2-wire at the IC power up...

    IntelliCenter Spa Mode

Thanks Allen. I cannot find a way to regain control of the heater control panel. I put the IC in service mode but that didn't help. I saw something that said on Raypak hold the UP/DOWN arrows for 5 secs to regain control. Understanding that Raypak/Rheem are normally the same I tried that to...

IC60 - use cell blank over winter or not?

I have a cell blank from Pentair that I used before I fired up the IC60 last spring for the first time. Would it be a good idea to go ahead and store the IC60 indoors and install the blank now that water temps are too low for generation? If i go that route, is there anything more I need to do...

    Any electricians lurking?

I have a motion sensor light at the middle top of my garage door opening. It's attached to the soffit via an exterior jbox(1). I'd like to move that light 16ft along the soffit to the corner of the garage. Would I be fine using a length of 14/2 Romex, wire-nutted in the existing jbox(1)...

    IntelliCenter Wireless Link Freezing

I got 'blipped' this morning. And I am using TPLINK CPE210 for connectivity. Currently my system is functioning, ie. pump running and cell producing, but can't access the panel via web or app. I have been waiting to reboot the panel as I had been out of town for the last several weeks and it...

Yep the cell light. Wasn't sure about the need to power off, so I errored on the side of caution. Dumped some LC in and left it off for ~18hrs.
