True, Pentair does not install but they will send a licensed contractor or the local rep will come to help support.

I was an owner builder and had Pentair come to my home and repair one of my pumps. There was no issues with Pentair. Thy have the best warranty in the business. Not sure why you would say that? Edit by Jim R.

Good Point! I even went as far as going to Lowes and getting that yellow and black warning tape and putting that on top of the plumbing in the trench so anytime someone was digging they would see it.
