My TA level is 200 and I have scaling. I’m reading that the way to reduce this to the recommended 60-80 mark for my pool is to add muriatic acid which will reduce TA and pH over multiple times while aerating water to bring pH back up. Am I correct this is really the only way to get TA decreased?
